Visitors Present: J. R. Tomlin, Edward H. Miller, Alton Risinger, E. E. Burns, Elton Jones. On motion by Councilman Holt, seconded by Councilman Rosprim, Ordinance No. 425, an ordinance amending the schedule of utility rates for the city of College Station, repealing a section of Ordinance No. 263, and providing for an effective date, was approved. N On motion by Councilman Holleman, seconded by Councilman Boyett, Ordinance 14 No. 426, an ordinance providing for a public hearing on the question of rezoning ill a tract of land 1701 X 2401 in the Crawford Burnett League presently zoned as [� District No. 1, First Dwelling House District, to District No. 4, First Business District, was passed and approved. Lel On motion by Councilman Boyett, seconded by Councilman Rosprim, the question of rezoning Lots 1, 21 3, and part of 4, Block 19, Boyett Addition, was referred back to the Planning and Zoning Commission for its reconsideration. 0 - cd On motion by Councilman Holleman, seconded by Councilman Boyett, Ordinance No. 427, an ordinance accepting the work of improving portions of Park Place in the city of College Station, was approved. 0 On motion by Councilman Holleman, seconded by Councilman Rosprim, Ordinance No. 428, an ordinance accepting the work of improving portions of Bolton Avenue, Munson Avenue, Park Place, Caudill Street, Francis Drive, and sundry other streets in the city of College Station, was approved. In motion by Councilman Holleman, seconded by Councilman Holt, the final W. D. Fitch subdivision plat of Leacrest No. 3 Addition was approved. A meeting with Homer A. Hunter & Associates to review the water study report was set for Tuesday, April 27, 1965. The city manager was requested to include Councilman Rhodesl proposal for closer coordination between the Planning and Zoning Commission and other Commit— tees on the agenda for the next regular meeting of the council. On motion by Councilman Holt, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, the following resolution was adopted: RESOLUTION WHEREAS it has been determined that the following described property is of no further value to the city of College Station and should be abandoned, and WHEREAS it has been determined that a quitclaim deed to Mr. �4 Read Wipprecht should be prepared by the city attorney and IN 0s, NOW, THEREFORE, be it Resolved by the city council of the city of College Station, Texas, that Ernest Langford, Mayor, be and he is ry- C) hereby authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim deed on behalf of the city of College Station to Read Wipprecht on the following described tract of land: Beginning at a point in the West line of Foster Street, said point also being the most Northerly corner of Lot 6, Block 22 of the College Hills Estates Addition of the city of College Station, Texas, and said point also being the most Easterly corner of Lot 7, Block 22, of said addition. Thence North 450 East a distance of 10 feet, said line being an extension of the common line between Lots 6 and 7, Block 22 of said College Hills Estates Addition. Thence South 450 East a distance of 106 feet, said line being parallel to the West line of Foster Street, to a radius point. Thence in a circular arc with a radius of 25 feet for a distance of 39.33 feet to a radius point, said radius point being on an extension of the North line of Moss Street. {4'^) Thence South 450 West a distance of 10 feet to an existing radius point on the South line of said Lot 6, Block 22, College Hills Estates Addition. Thence from said existing radius point with the East line of said Lot 61 Block 221 a distance of 15.33 feet to the place of beginning.
