You can have friends over and come and go as you please; however, there are still some common courtesy rules to remember. Living in your own apartment or house is a great feeling and you will no doubt have many great memories. While you are making your own memories, make sure you don't become a negative memory for someone else and remember to Bee a Good neighbor! Violations can result in fines. le Pattie/ The number one enemy of social gatherings is the reaction of upset members of the community. It is your neighbors who will call the police if your party is too loud. Talk to your neighbor before the party and give out a phone number so they can call you if it gets too loud $ Limit the number of guests at your party If alcohol is present, make sure everyone who is drinking is 21 or older le Discourage guests from wandering way from the designated party area It Monitor the noise level by going outside periodically le Cleanup any mess from your party as soon as possible floise How much noise is too much noise? If you stand on the edge of your property line and still hear the noise, it's probably too loud. le Don't leave barking dogs outside all night long le Watch the volume of your stereo and TV, especially early in the morning and late at night 1 Property flppecircince Maybe you're not Martha Stewart, but everyone can keep a yard or patio area looking neat and clean. * Mow your lawn on a regular basis It Keep couches in the living room instead of the porch It * Put up the trash can 12 hours after garbage is collected * Don't overflow your garbage can Perking No one wants to live next door to a junk yard or a parking lot. While you may have more cars than spaces, you can not use your yard as a parking place. * Park your car facing the right direction 1 * Park in appropriately marked spaces * Don't keep cars that don't work sitting in the driveawy 1 * Don't park your car in the yard
