is vaoant,and we are anxious to secure a paetor
order that he may move before school opens�in _September
We have a new manse,no ohurch; services
.4 being held in the Y. i . C. A. building. There , are about
thirty five members consisting of a dozen or " more ;of the
outstanding faculty members and their families. There
are practically three hundred Presbyterians here_aut o
a student body twenty five hundred.
The Baptist and Methodist have `cbure
pastors on the grounds,and the Episcopalians. and .,-: the
. "
Christians hold regular services on SundaysThe College
has convocation each Sunday morning,inviting the outstanding
ministers of all denominations to preach.
This work is largely with the students,
and the opportunities of influencing their lives are
irnmeasureable. On the other hand it is practically
impossible to measure and enumerate results as in a
regular pastorate.
We have boon paying three thousand
dollars per year and a manse. Most of the members are
liberal and regular givers.
