AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, "TRAFFIC CODE ", OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY REPEALING
SECTION 11 AUTOMATED TRAFFIC SIGNAL ENFORCEMENT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That Chapter 10, "Traffic Code ", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
College Station, Texas, be amended by repealing Section 11 "Automated Traffic
Signal Enforcement'.
PART 2: That by repealing Section 11, the use of cameras for red light violations is hereby
banned in College Station.
PART 3: That the Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
