Prominent Historical Figures: Ernest Langford Ernest Langford wasborn on May 30, t 891 inBallinger, Texas. Although Mr. Langford was born in Bal his mother and father took the family to live in "two central Texas towns of closeproximity, and Bertram in Burn et County''~. Growing up, Mr. Langford was taught many things by both hi : his mother taught him to do things such as sew things around the house, and his father taught him carpentry and the skills of building trades.2 So Mr. Langford'sfather was the first influence in his future as an Architect.
