D.A. (Andy) Anderson, I&E
Department, Texas Forest
Service, has been made an
honorary life member of the
Elementary Science Teachers
a
Association (ESTA), an affiliate
of the National Science Teachers
Association.
This
honor was recently given
to Anderson by the executive
committee of ESTA in
recognition of his contributions
to teachers in science education.
In announcing the life
membership on behalf of the
Association, Dr. Jim Milson,
`
professor school of Education of
the University of Texas at El
i
Paso said, "this is but a small
token of recognition due
Anderson for his support of our
activities."
Anderson, the former mayor
of College Station, serves as
forestry consultant in teacher
workshops at various colleges
and universities throughout
Texas, as part of the educational
program of the Texas Forest
Service.
