COLLEGE STATION March 22nd, a general meeting was held in the Chemistry Building Lecture Hall to debate the merits of incorporating a city. From this meetinga committee of chaired JohnBerney, a Y HenryY Y, math rofessor.Allse mentsofthecommunitY deartmentsofthe and P 9 P college were represented on this committee. The committee circulated petitions, as required by state law. The petition was presented to Judge Jahn Ferguson on June 2nd,1938, asking for an election to be held.
