On Pot Charges
Four youths were arrested
early this morning on the
charge of possession of
marijuana when two College
Station police officers observed
erratic movements of their car.
College Station Police Chief
Melvin Luedke told The Eagle
Officers Hubert Hearne and
Kenneth Cantey arrested the
youths at 3 a.m. at Jersey and
S. Texas.
Luedke said the officers were
attracted by the way the car
was maneuvering. He said they
stopped the car; searched it;
and found a substance which

was later found to be
marijuana.
Ronnie George Hrncir, 17, of
Rosenberg and three juveniles
were given magistrates warning
this morning in connection with
a possession of marijuana case.
Hrncir's bond was set at
$1,000 by Justice of the Peace
B. H. Dewey Jr.
Later this morning, Justice of
the Peace Jess B. McGee gave
warning to the three juveniles,
who were turned over to
probation officer John Godfrey.
All four ;Youths are currently
in Brazos County jail.
The Juveniles arrested were
