Robert C. Russman, president
of the - International Council of
Industrial' Editors, will meet
with Texas A &M journalism
students and Sigma Delta Chi
members- Monday, announced

Russman is supervisor of the
Publications Section, Employe
I n f o r m a t i o n Department,
Personnel and Organization
Staff, Ford Motor Co.
He will speak to the public
relations class at 10 a.m. and
society at noon, reports Eckard,
director of publications for
A &M'aa ^Association of Former
Students.
Russilian will speak to the
Southeast Texas Industrial
Editors Association meeting in
Houston Monday night and the
Society of Austin Industrial
Editors meeting Tuesday night.
Eckard will accompany
Russman to the meetings.
A native of Portland, Mich.,
he received a B.A. degree from
Michigan State in 1950. Upon
graduation he joined the Port
Huron, Mich., Times - Herald as
reporter and later bureau chief.
He also was a play -by -play
sports announcer and sports
director for radio station WT-
TH a• `station owned by the
paper.
Russman joined Ford Motor
Co. in 1951 as editor of an
employe newspaper in a
suburban Detroit plant. Four
years later he was promoter'
to the company's central staff.;
College" , Station Mayor D. A.
(Andy) Anderson will make
Russman an honorary citizen of
College Station during the
Sigma Del Chi luncheon.
