Anderson, former mayor of College Station who spoke on "Americanism ". In his • statements Anderson em- phasized respect for religion along with acceptance and " enforcement of law as the two " major factors in making America great and pointed out the tragedy of public apathy toward national and local - problems and the reluctance of " citizens in becoming involved to correct the problems. During the business session Mrs. E. J. Dyksterhuis reported on the Texas Federation of Women's Club district awards. Members made a monetary contribution to the benefit flea market to be held Nov. 20. Hostesses for the meeting were Mmes. G. S. Frapps, chairman, H. G. Hanes, A. R. Orr, F. M. Ivey and W. S. Allen.
