HomeMy WebLinkAboutAlexander, James Claude Obituaries James Claude Alexander Oct. 8, 1949 -July 21, 2005 KLEIN -Services for James Claude Alexander, 55, of Spring are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Klein Funeral Home. Burial will be Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, Texas. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Alexander died Thursday in Houston. He was born in College Station and raised in Wellborn. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1972, majoring in finance and business administration. He moved to Houston in 1972 and worked for Capital National Bank in the real estate department. He later worked for General Homes as vice president and chief financial officer for 20 years and at David Weekley Homes as vice president and chief financial officer for the past seven years. Mr. Alexander was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and donated his time to many local community organizations. He headed a fund-raising campaign through David Weekley Homes for the United Way. He was a member of Champion Forest Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Alexander of Spring; two daughters and a son-in-law, Deanna and Eric of Allen and Megan of College Station; his parents, J.O. and Nan Alexander of College Station; and two brothers, David Alexander of Abilene and Sid Alexander of College Station.
