haven't such a bad team after all.
If you could have seen them in
Franklin game the other night you,
would not recognize them as the same
team that took the field earlier in

The Tigers future hopes for dis- .
trict honors will depend entirely on
the outcome of the Bedias game on

Jimmy Cashion's kicking the other
night was nothing short of miracu-
lous. Iie punted four times for an
average of 51 yards per try. He also
passes for 2 touchdowns, added three
extra points,' and kicked a beautiful
field goal from a difficult angle.
That's playing in any league.
The Brenham Cubs who earlier
this season defeated the Tigers quite
badly are still undefeated and un-
tied. It seems that they are going
to win their district title. Navasota,
the only other threat to the crown
and last year's title has already fal-
len victim to the Cubs. Bellville is
the latest victim, having gone down
by a 31 to 0 count.
Here's picking some of the win-

The A. & M. Consolidated Tigers,
conquerors of the Iola Bulldogs, the
Allen B Squad, and the Franklin
Lions, will be after their fourth
straight victory tonight when they
tangle with the Calvert Trojans in
Calvert.
Although it is not a District game,
it promises to be a very interesting
struggle. At the present time, little
is known about the Calvert team, so
it can be assumed that the Tigers are
going up against rugged opposition.
The Tigers, with every man in per -
feet physical condition, will be ready
to meet whatever comes up. The
Tigers strong line coupled with a
strong offensive attack should be
'able to turn the trick.
Last week the Tiger team, led' by
Cashion's accurate passes and superb
kicking, soundly trounced a game
but outfought Franklin's team. This
was undoubtedly the best game the
Tigers have played all season. If
they continue to display this won -
derful form they ought to have lit-
tle trouble with the Trojans.
All fans wishing to attend and to
boost the Tigers are urged to be at
Calvert at 8:15.
