Called Trant: Check on all Building or for shelter, place
and number oaf people for possible emergency signs.
Check on buildings that give better protection than home -
exact plant place and location estimate number of people.
(for signs)
Check on buildings that can be modified by sandbagging and
some for signs and location.
Called Ed: assigned.
Check on Sandbags. Where can they be obtained.

October 22-- Called lir. Brennon -ask for assignment of communications
man - -L2 onaran Harris.
October 22: Ars.Benton, Mr. Hecox contractor. October 1961 , she
says he built a shelter that leaks water badly.
October 22: 10:35 AM (called John Hill to ask to meet with Mr.
Trant and Sandlin on shelter plans - -at present stage.)
Ed Burns -- Bags. Mim. 46,000 to 56,000 Brazos County Feed
and Seed and Fertilizer Co.
Went by Judes office 4;30 . Still in court till 5 :30 PM.
October 23rd.
Called Judes office and asked to talk to him. 10:30 Mrs.
Carpenter called -judge said he would be in court until
tomorrow morning.

Called Dr. Krise - -he says he can get 4 Monitoring Stations in
operation as soon as needed with adequate trained personnel.
October 27.-- called Rousch - -check his plans out.
October 2$ - -- met with Emmett Trant on ohelter plans.
October 29 -- Met with Mr. Elking and Pruitt -- started food
and feeding survey.

October 30th -- check for radios for EC Mclarty -- school plans.
October 30 - -- called Judge Davis for meeting. Meeting set for
4 P.M. called Mr. Sandlin - -he will call Naylor.
Called Mr. Zinn, he will call Ran Boswell and Langford.
