MEMORANDUM: For all Civil Defense Officials.
SUBJECT Ordinances governing use of Civil Defense
I.D. Cards, Decals and Insignias.
I. All Civil Defense Officials issued car decals have
the responsibility of removing the decals when owner-
ship of vehicle is transferred.
II. I.D. Cards must be returned to this office for can-
cellation whenever an official resigns or is relieved
of Civil Defense duties.
III. I.D. Cards, car decals and insignias is your passport
in Brazos County during an emergency. Protect them.
The Bryan and College Station City Ordinance is quoted for
your information and guidance and is applicable to all
Civil Defense officials appointed by this office.
SECTION 13.
It shall be unlawful for any person willfully to
obstruct, hinder, or delay any member of the Civil
Defense organization in the enforcement of any rule
or regulation issued pursuant to this ordinance, or
to do any act forbidden by any rule or regulation
issued pursuant to the authority contained in this
ordinance.
It shall like wise be unlawful for any person to wear,
carry or display any emblem, insignia or any other
means of identifications as a member of the Civil
Defense organization unless the authority to do so
has been granted by proper officials. Convictions
for violations of provision of this ordinance shall
be punishable by fine not to exceed $200.00.
