WHEREAS...
The County Judge of the County of Brazos
AND the Mayor of the City of College Station
AND the Mayor of the City of Bryan...
,.,Being aware of the need for public education and safety
preparedness information concerning tornadoes, hail, windstorms,
lightning, and flash floods...
AND WHEREAS, the State of Texas last year during the month
of April received reports of over 39 tornadoes and 70 severe
thunderstorms...
DO HEREBY join together and proclaim the month of April
" SEVERE WEATHER AND TORNADO PREPAREDNESS MONTH"
AND Urge the news media and local preparedness officials to
publicize Ewere weather safety rules and emergency preparedness
information.
