Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Hillier Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. in the chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, located at 2S41 Earl Rudder Fwy. S. in College Station. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery. Bob served his country proudly for more than 20 years ''_ with the U.S. Navy and Air Force during World War ,,/,) II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. After retiring - /''' from the military, Bob taught accounting at Blinn College in Brenham until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed his family, friends, playing golf and the Houston Astros. ^L He was rec p eded in death by his wife, Emilie Schaefer; ii son, Bill Stephens; and brothers, Joe Schaefer and Ed itir Schaefer.
