Winnie Mae Ford Winnie Mae (Lil Bit) was the ninth child of George and Victoria Ford. It is rumored that Winnie Mae made the best biscuits in Brazos County and maybe all of Texas. Although,
she never married and had no children, she truly loved family; she didn’t hesitate to help or to show love to her relatives and friends when needed. She loved to laugh and go fishing
with her sisters-in-law, Christine and Bell, every day, weather permitting. In the 1940’s, after returning to Texas from working at the Kaiser Shipyard in Vancouver, Washington she took
care of her father until his death. And, after his death returned to Washington to work as a dietician.
