HD Productions
Dear Veteran of the Brazos Valley,
Since 2005, I've had the honor to share stories of
_ Brazos Valley veterans on the KAMU -TV program
"Veterans of the Valley ".
The weekly program airs each Saturday at 6:30
pm on the PBS affiliate KAMU, and repeats every
Sunday at 5:30 pm.
' If you have served in the United States military,
m and reside anywhere in the seven county region
w known as the Brazos Valley (Brazos, Burleson,
Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, or Washington),
g'Fu I would like you to tell your story.
While most of the veterans we feature have served
during wartime, serving in a foreign war is not a pre- requisite. I want to hear the
story of any veteran who's served our country — any place, any time.
If you will honor me by being featured on the show, there are several ways
to contact me. The best way is by e-mail (turby(csuddenlink.net); Or by calling
me at 979 - 695 -3224 (leave a message); Or write me at 2700 Rudder Fwy S., Suite
5000, College Station, Tx 77845. All I need is your name and phone number,
branch and when you served or if in wartime, what war.
I'II call you back to set up a convenient time for me to come to your home
for an informal visit so I can learn about your service and to borrow any photos
you might have from your service. I prefer to conduct this one -hour initi
meeting on a Monday or Tuesday between 9:30 am and 2 p.m.
Then the following Thursday at 2:30 pm, we tape the 30- minute show at the
studios of KAMU -TV on the Texas A &M campus. Your show will typically air 2 to
5 weeks after the taping
It would be my honor to tell your story of service on
Veterans of the Valley. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Tom Turbiville Host Veterans of the Valley
