HIGH LIGHTS OF THE YEAR
1. The Tigers were District Football Champions, undefeated in district
play.
2. Mason Cashion, James Prewit, Dick Dowell, Gilbert Eimann and Buddy
McCulloch made the all- district football team. Mason Cashion was
unanimous choice as best all- around player in district.
3. The Tigers were District Basketball Champions.
4. Dick Dowell and Mason Cashion made the all- tournament basketball
team of the 1949 Kiwanis Club Third Annual Invitation Basketball
Tournament.
5. The Tigers were 1948 District Baseball Champions, undefeated in dis-
trict play.
6. The Tigers were District Track Champions in both the Senior and
Junior divisions.
