For the first time in quite awhile the sons of Mr.
and Mrs. Allen T. Powell (center) are home in Bryan
all at the same time. They are 1-r Lt. Richard A.
Powell of Attack Squadron 27 and stationed at the
Naval Air Station in Lemoorc, Calif., A~F-3 William
J. Powell of Attack Squardon 97 stationed at: Lemoore,
Calif., HMI Thomas G. Powell of the 2nd Marine Air
Wing of Cherry Point, N.C., and AA Hubbard L. Pow-
ell stationed at Naval Station in Jacksonville, Fla.
The boys have received many medals during their
service such as: Richard - 20 air medals, 1 navy
commendation medal, 1 Viet Namese Cross of Gal-
antry and 1 Unit Citation; William - 1 Navy Unit
Citation, 1 Viet Namese Presidental Citation; Thomas
- 2 purple hearts, 1 navy good conduct medal, 1 U.S.
Presidential Citation, 1 Viet Namese Presidential
Citation, 2 Combat Unit Citations and Hubbard- the
American Spirit Honor Medal out of Boot Camp.
