Helen Sodolak, 86, of Bryan ' ~ ~ ~ { Y r.,.
passed away on Saturday, x ' ; March 7, 2009, at her residence.:
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 ~ ` , .
p.m. Monday, March 9, with ~ n ~ ' i ~
Rosary at 7 p.m. at Hillier ~ E,~ c ~C;
Funeral Home. Services are set
for 10 a.m Tuesday, March 10,
. at St. Joseph Catholic Church ~ ~ < in Bryan. Burial will follow at ::w
Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Helen was born on December 15, 1922, to John and Pauline
Holik in College Station. She married John Joseph Sodolak on
June 9,1942.
She was a homemaker and devoted to her husband, children,
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and church. Helen
loved being around her family and was very active in several
organizations. She was a member of the St. Joseph Women's
Guild, St. Joseph Rosary Society, Sons of Hermann, KJZT and
VFW No.4692 Women's Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph
Sodolak.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John Martin and
Shirley Sodolak of College Station; grandson and wife, Chris
and Lesa Sodolak of College Station; great-grandson, Chase
Sodolak of College Station; granddaughter, Debbie Sansom of Florence, Texas; and great-grandsons, Paden Davis, Kameron
Davis, Kaleb Davis and Cash Davis, all of Florence, Texas.
