The old spirit was high last night in our first official meeting, and
the outlook for a great celebration is bright. Clear thinking and
systematic planning were the proceedings of the evening. The next
meeting will be held May 4 at Lee Chapel M.E. Church 8 p.m. and a
special invitation goes to the colored women of the city to be present.
Every husband bring his wife. Respectfully submitted, Jethro Hatchett,
President; Dr. I.A. Carter, Secretary.
