Agenda Item #6: Committee Reports:
Exploring History Lunch Lectures (Ernie and Hillary)
Ernie mentioned the upcoming lecture with Michele Meade of the Emergency
Operations Center. The 2009 programs will be determined at the HPC Retreat
December 5th.
Historic Markers (Meredith and Hillary)
Historic Home Marker #85 will be presented to the Drs. Tracey & Craig Scasta at
the Nov. 24 City Council meeting.

Agenda Item #7: 70th Birthday of the City of College Station
Prior to the meeting, members judged the children’s art contest. Winners are:
Dayeon Choi, June Jeong, Annie Li Zhang, and Saki Kamon. A motion was made
and passed to award the winners $15 gift certificates to Hobby Lobby. (EA/hj)
Agenda Item #8: Landmark Commission
Molly Hitchcock, Senior Planner in Planning and Development Services, presented
information on the Landmark Commission. Appointments to the commission will
be approved at the City Council meeting on Nov. 24th.
