Publicity –1 article; 16 viewings • “Seventy Years of Leadership” article in AbouTown Press, Oct. 21. • Exploring History Lunch Lecture showing on CSTV-19 on Tuesdays, 10 am and 10 pm. Oral History Interviews – 0 Publications –2 • Sent a press release concerning the Exploring History Lunch Lecture • Sent a press release concerning 70th Birthday Art Contest winners Historic Markers – 0 • Currently, 85 Historic Home Markers, 8 Building Markers and 2 Historic Subject Markers Community Outreach -2 • Nov. 5 -Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board Meeting; ACBV • Nov. 20 – “History of Terrell Farms From the Mid 30s to Mid 60s” at Millican History Center; presented by Bill Terrell with photographs by Kathleen Blackshear; possible Exploring History Lunch topic INTERNAL Intern –0 hours No intern at this time. My Husband Jim was an 18 year old boy when he went into service in WWII. He won't give his story because he jokes that he was Key man in the first Remingtons (A typist with the Fleet Records Office). My reply to this is that every man and woman’s job was required. None would have got their mail if not for those who served in menial tasks. Thanks for sharing.
