AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 4.68 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE
IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PART OF THAT 285.32 ACRE TRACT
CONVEYED TO SOUTHWOOD VALLEY, INC. BY DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 378, PAGE 224 OF THE
DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM AGRICULTURAL /OPEN DISTRICT A -0 TO DUPLEX
DISTRICT R -2.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M.,
on Thursday, March 12, 1981 on the question of rezoning certain areas within
the city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of that 4.68 acre tract of land lying and being
situated in the Crawford Burnett League, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and
being a part of that 285.32 acre tract conveyed to Southwood Valley, Inc. by deed
recorded in Volume 378, page 224 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas and being
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the southeast line of Southwood Valley Section 22B
and the
centerline
of
Welsh Avenue;

along the extension of the centerline of Welsh
Avenue;

through the said 285.32 acre tract;

southeast line of Southwood Valley Section 22B;
THENCE S 48 0 07'43" W -- 602.49 feet along the southeast line of Southwood Valley
Section 22B to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 4.68 acres of land, more or
less, from Agricultural /Open District A -0 to Duplex District R -2.
And, it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
