AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 175 AND PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASED PENALTY
FOR THE CREATION OR MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC NUISANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
That Section 3 of Ordinance 175 is hereby repealed, and the following
substituted therefor:
Section 3: Penalty.
Any person, firm, or corporation who shall knowingly cause or create
any public nuisance, or permit any public nuisance to be created or to be
placed upon or to remain upon any premises owned or occupied by him or them,
shall upon conviction thereof be punished by being caused to forfeit the
sum of not less than One ($1.00) Dollar and not more than Two Hundred ($200.00)
Dollars for each such offense, together with cost of prosecution.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
