AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
An affidavit having been made by all of the owners of the hereinafter described
territory adjoining the limits of the City of College Station, Texas, to the
effect that there are no registered voters residing within the boundaries of
the hereinafter described territory and that the affiants are the sole owners
of the hereinafter described property, and
The aforesaid affidavit having been filed with the City Secretary who
has certified the same to the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council by virtue of the authority conferred by
Article II, Section 6 of the Charter of the City of College Station, Texas,
approved on April 4, 1972, by this ordinance does hereby receive such ter-
ritory within the incorporated limits of the City of College Station, Texas,
such territory being more particularly described as follows:
TRACT ONE:
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the
Crawford Burnett League in Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that 285.32
acre tract conveyed to Southwood Valley, Inc. by deed recorded in Volume 378,
page 224 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas and being more fully
described as follows:
BEGINNING at an 1/2"

deed recorded in Volume 322, page 670 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,

THENCE N 44014'33" W -- 1131.92 feet along the southwest line of the said
649.77 acre tract;
THENCE S 52050'58" W -- 13.15 feet;
THENCE N 44036159" W -- 1936.03 feet along the southwest line of the said
649.77 acre tract to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 274.64 acres of
land more or less.
TRACT TWO:
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated iin the
Crawford Burnett League in Brazos County, Texas, and being all- of that 39.45
acre tract conveyed to Tiller Corporation by deed recorded in Volume 293,
page 287 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and all of that 9.02
acre tract conveyed to Tiller Corporation by deed recorded in Volume 302,
page 780 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more fully
described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod in the southeast right-of-way line of F.M. 2818 at
the most northerly corner of the said 39.45 acre tract, which is also the
most westerly corner of that 2.37 acre tract conveyed to the City of Bryan,
Texas by deed recorded in Volume 301, page 191 of the deed records of Brazos
County, Texas;
THENCE along the southeast right-of-way line of F.M. 2818 as follows:

THENCE S 39030-21" W -- 237.12 feet to an iron rod at a fence corner;
THENCE S 47041'35" E -- 905.23 feet along the southwest line of the said
39.45 acre tract to a fence corner in the northwest line of the said 9.02
acre tract;
THENCE S 41010'28" W -- 148.73 feet along the northwest line of the said
9.02 acre tract to an iron rod at a fence corner;
THENCE S 48005'46" E -- 19.82 feet along the southwest line of the said 9.02
acre tract to an iron rod at a fence corner;
THENCE N 46051'07" E -- 2821.62 feet along the southeast line of the said
9.02 acre tract to a 3/4" iron pipe at a fence corner;
THENCE N 49028'06" W -- 576.24 feet along the northeast line of the said
9.02 acre tract and the said 39.45 acre tract to the POINT OF BEGINNING and
containing 48.56 acres of land, more or less.
