kkw An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1147 appointing the presiding Judge
for the general municipal election on April 7, 1979.
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
That Ordinance No. 1147, calling for a general municipal election in the City
of College Station be amended as follows:
The following persons are hereby authorized and approved as persons employed
and designated to handle the ballots, operate the tabulating equipment and
count the ballots:
a. Presiding Judge: J. B. Hervey
b. Clerks: To be named by Presiding Judges
A committee is hereby established of the following persons to hold a computer
accuracy test prior to the start and subsequent to the count of the voted ballots
to ascertain that the computer will accurately count the votes cast for the offices
to be voted upon in said election:
a. Mayor Lorence Bravenec
b. City Manager North Bardell
c. City Secretary Glenn Schroeder
d. Presiding Judge: J. B. Hervey
