AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 3.18 ACRE TRACT OF LAND BEING A PORTION OF RESERVE TRACT
"C", BLOCK 4 - UNIVERSITY OAKS SECTION 2, AND BEING MORE FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES
AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C-1 TO
APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT R-5.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on
Thursday, February 22, 1979 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain 3.18 acre tract or
parcel of land being a protion of Reserve Tract "C", Block 4, University Oaks
Section 2, and being more fully described as follows:
All that certain tract or parcel of land being a portion of eserve Tract "C",
Block 4, University Oaks, Section 2, a subdivision of the City of College Station,
Texas, in accordance with plat filled in Volume 289, page 555 of the Deed Records
of Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows:
COMENCING at the north corner of said Block 4, said corner also being the point
of intersection of the southwest right--of-way line of Munson Drive with the
southeast right-of-way line of University Oaks Boulevarde;
THENCE S 44018'30" E -- 304.87 feet along the southwest right-of-way line of
Munson Drive to the PLACE OF BEGINNING;
THENCE continuing S 44018'30" E -- 173.15 feet along the said right-of-way of
Munson Drive to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE S 45042'12" W 800.00 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE N 44018'30" W 173.15 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE N 45°42'12" E -- 800.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing
3.18 acres of land, more or less, from General Commercial District C-1 to
Apartment Building District R-5.
And, it is ordained that said change shall be effective immediately.
