AN ORDINANCE REZONING ALL OF A 28.07 ACRE TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND LYING AND BEING
SITUATED IN THE MORGAN RECTOR LEAGUE IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND
BEING A PART OF THE 37.32 ACRE AGENCY RECORDS CONTROL TRACT, AND BEING MORE FULLY
DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM AGRICULTURAL -OPEN DISTRICT A-0 TO
PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT M-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on
Thursday, July 13, 1978 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the City
Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or parcel of land
lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector League in College Station, Brazos
County, Texas, being a part of that 37.32 acre tract conveyed to Agency Records
Control, Inc. be deed recorded in Volume 313, page 816 of the Deed Records of
Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning in the northwest line of Sebesta Road at the most southerly corner of
the said Agency Records Control, Inc. tract.
THENCE N 470 47' 10" W - 802.13 feet along the southwest line of the said Agency
Records Control, Inc. tract to a point lying 500 feet measured perpendicular from
the northeast right-of-way line of State Highway No. 6 - East Bypass;
THENCE N 00 13' 52" W - 760.46 feet parallel to and 500 feet from said right-of-way
line;
THENCE N 10 51' 31" W - 328.36 feet continuing parallel to and 500 feet from said
right-of-way to the centerline of a private street or road;
THENCE East - 302.01 feet along the centerline of said private street to the
northeast corner of the said Agency Records Control, Inc. tract;
THENCE S 470 47' 10" E - 1322.03 feet along the northeast line of the said Agency
Records Control, Inc. tract to the most easterly corner of said tract in the
northwest line of Sebesta Road;
THENCE S 420 19' 34" W - 1000.00 feet along the northwest line of Sebesta Road
and the southeast line of the said Agency Records Control, Inc. tract to the
POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 28.07 acres of land, more or less, from
Agricultural -Open District A-0 to Planned Industrial District M-1.
And it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
