AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENT IN SOUTHWOOD VALLEY, SECTION 7-B, SAID
ADDITION BEING RECORDED IN VOLUME 360, PAGE 625 OF THE DEED
RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
Pursuant to an application and request filed with the City
of College Station, Texas, March 27, 1978, that utility
easement being one foot (11) in width and running parallel
with the common line between Lot 14 and Lot 15, Block 24,
Southwood Valley, Section 7-B, and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds below is hereby ordered vacated
and abandoned:
BEGINNING at the southeast corner of the aforementioned Lot
14, also being the northeast corner of said Lot 15 and lying
in the west right-of-way line of Normand Drive;
THENCE N 10045103/1 W along the east line of said Lot 14,
being the west right-of-way line of Normand Drive for a distance
of 4.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING;
THENCE continuing N 10°45103" W for a distance of 1.00 feet
to a point for corner;
THENCE S 79014157/1 W parallel with the south line of said
Lot 14 for a distance of 125.14 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE S 0205115811 E parallel to the west line of Lot 14 for
a distance of 1.01 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE N 79014157/1 E parallel to the south line of Lot 14 for
a distance of 125.28 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of College
Station, Texas, this the 13th day of April, 1978.
