AN ORDINANCE REZONING A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE
�W- IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE
BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT R-3 TO SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M.
on Thursday, September 9, 1976 on the question of rezoning certain areas with-
in the city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or parcel of
land lying and being situated in the Crawford Burnett League in College Station,
Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that 649.77 acre tract conveyed to South-
wood Valley, Inc. by deed recorded in Volume 322, Page 670 of the Deed Records
of Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING in the line between that 12.38 acre tract described as tract 7 in City
of College Station Ordinance No. 908 and that 351.677 acre tract described in
City of College Station Ordinance No. 995, S 410 571 2711 E - 424.21 feet from
the intersection of said line and the southeast line of Deacon Drive;
THENCE, S 410 571 2711 E - 489.33 feet along the line between the said 12.38
acre tract and the said 351.677 acre tract;
THENCE, N 520 351 2011 E - 208.36 feet to the P.C. of a curve to the left (R=3701);
THENCE, along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 60 031 34" to the
P.T. of said curve;
THENCE, N 460 311 4611 E - 24.75 feet;
THENCE, N 510 321 1411 W - 300.13 feet;
THENCE, N 670 191 4711 W - 128.05 feet;
THENCE, S 700 351 5911 W - 59.52 feet,
THENCE, S 800 44? 3011 W - 132.80 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing
2.32 acres of -land, more or less, from Apartment Building District R-3 to Single
Family Residential District R-1.
And it is ordained that said change shall be effective immediately.
