AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT SITUATED
ON LOT 8 BLOCK 3 SOUTHWOOD SECTION 21 A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
The portion of public utility easement located on Lot 8 Block 3 Southwood
Section 21 more fully described by metes and bounds below is hereby ordered vacated
and abandoned:
BEGINNING at an iron rod found atthe north corner of the aforesaid Lot 8, said
corner also being the east corner of Lot 7, Block 3 of Southwood, Section 21;
THENCE S 51055'12" W along the common line of the said Lot 7 and Lot 8 for a
distance of 19.90 feet to an iron rod for the PLACE OF BEGINNING:
THENCE continuing S 51055112" W along the common line of Lot 7 and Lot 8 for
a distance of 10.26 feet to an iron rod for corner, and said corner lying on the
existing 30 foot easement line;
THENCE S 32015'07" E along the said existing 30 foot easement line for a
distance of 1.51 feet to an iron rod for corner, said corner lying on the existing
30 foot easement line.
THENCE S 49035'07" E along the said existing 30 foot easement line for a
distance of 87.41 feet to an iron rod for corner, said corner also being the point
of intersection of the existing 30 foot easement line with the west easement line
of an existing 10 foot sanitary sewer easement also crossing into the aforementioned
r Lot 8;
THENCE N 17050'09" W for a distance of 3.16 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE N 43035121" W five (5) feet from and parallel to an existing sanitary
sewer line for a distance of 84.58 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
