ORDINANCE NO. 1021
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING CONSUMPTION OR POSSESSION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN ANY
PUBLIC PLACE IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 1:15 A.M. AND 7:00
A.M. ON SATURDAY; 1:15 A.M. AND 12:00 NOON ON SUNDAY AND 12:15 A.M. AND 7:00 A.M. ON
ALL OTHER DAYS OF THE WEEK AND PROHIBITING THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN ANY
PUBLIC PLACE IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 1:00 A.M. AND 7:00
A.M. ON SATURDAY; 1:00 A.M. AND 12:00 NOON ON SUN DAY AND 12:15 A.M. AND 7:00 A.M. ON
ALL OTHER DAYS OF THE WEEK.
WHEREAS the City Council after public hearing is convinced that the hours
for extended consumption, possession or sale of alcoholic beverages should be
restricted to week -ends only;
AND, WHEREAS the City Council after discussion has determined the following:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
THAT it shall be unlawful for any person in the City of College Station, Texas,
to consume any alcoholic beverage in any public place or for any person to possess
any alcoholic beverage in any public place for the purpose of consuming the same in
such public place at any time on Saturday between the hours of 1:15 A.M. and 7:00
A.M., on Sunday between the hours of 1:15 A.M. and 12:00 Noon and on the other days
of the week between the hours of 12:15 A.M. and 7:00 A.M.
THAT it shall be unlawful for any person in the City of College Station, Texas,
to sellany alcoholic beverage in any public place for the purpose of consuming the
same in such public place at any time on Saturday between the hours of 1:15 A.M. and
7:00 A.M., on Sunday between the hours of 1:15 A.M. and 12:00 Noon and on the other
days of the week between the hours of 12:15 A.M. and 7:00 A.M.
