AN ORDINANCE REZONING A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE IN
COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY
OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C-1 TO APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT
R-3.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on
Thursday, April 8, 1976 on the question of rezoning a certain tract of land within
the city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or parcel of
land lying and being situated in the Crawford Burnett League in College Station,
Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that tract designated as Tract 5 in
Ordinance No. 908 of the City of College Station, Texas, and being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING in an extension of the southeast line of Airline Drive, N 36' 56' E -
222.87 feet from the northeast line of Southwood Drive.
THENCE N 360 56' E - 135.00 feet continuing along the extension of the southeast
line of Airline Drive to the P.C. of a curve to the right (R=598.151);
THENCE along the arc of said curve, continuing along the extension of the southeast
line of Airline Drive, through a central angle of 14° 45' 27";
THENCE S 380 18' 33" E - 68.17 feet;
THENCE N 800 13' 36" E - 436.30 feet;
THENCE S 710 43' 12" E - 81.06 feet to the southeast line of the said Tract 5;
THENCE S 680 16' 20" W 718.28 feet along the southeast line of the said Tract 5;
THENCE N 530 04' W - 88.13 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 1.9 acres
of land more or less from General Commercial District C-1 to Apartment Building
District R-3.
And it is ordained that the said change shall be effective immediately.
