AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 2,24 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE,
BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE
FROM AGRICULTURAL OPEN DISTRICT A-0 TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on
Thursday, April 8, 1976 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract in the Crawford
Burnett League, Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as
follows:
All of that 2.24 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the
Crawford Burnett League in Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that 30.03 acre
tract conveyed to William D. Fitch by deed recorded in Volume 323, Page 78 of the
Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING in the northwest line of the said 30.03 acre tract, S 170 18' 19" W -
164.17 feet from the most northerly corner of the said 30.03 acre tract.
THENCE S 170 18' 19" W - 731.89 feet along the northwest line of the said 30.03
acre tract;
THENCE N 420 34' 17" E - 624.76 feet through the said 30.03 acre tract;
THENCE N 400 39' 13" W - 314.57 feet through the said 30.03 acre tract to the
POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 2.24 acres of land more or less from Agricultural
Open District A-0 to Single Family Residential District R-1.
And it is ordained that the said change shall be effective immediately.
