ORDINANCE NO. 958
AN ORDINANCE REZONING THAT 24.49 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE,
BEING A PART OF TWO TRACTS CONVEYED TO E. KELLY PARKER, TRUSTEE, (VOL. 328, PAGE 326,
BRAZOS COUNTY DEED RECORDS) FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, DISTRICT R-lC
TO AGRICULTURAL OPEN DISTRICT, DISTRICT A-0.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M.
on Monday, Feb. 24, 1975 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or parcel of land
lying and being situated in the Crawford Burnett League, College Station, Brazos
County, Texas and being part of a 36.182 acre tract and a 29.622 acre tract conveyed
by Harold Franke, et al to E. Kelly Parker, Turstee, described in the deed recorded
in Volume 328, page 326 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas and being more
particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the iron rod marking the north corner of the abovementioned 29.622 acre
tract;
THENCE S 45000'09" W along the northwest line of the abovementioned 29.622 acre
tract for a distance of 703.68 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING of the herein described
tract of land in the center of a 15 foot wide sanitary sewer easement;
THENCE continuing S 45*00109" W along a northwest line of the abovementioned 29.622
acre tract for a distance of 93.09 feet to an iron rod marking an interior ell corner
of the said 29.622 acre tract;
THENCE N 35028145" W along a northeast line of the abovementioned 29.622 acre tract
for a distance of 135.17 feet to an iron rod marking a north corner of the said
29.622 acre tract;
THENCE S 45010'11" W for a distance of 215.00 feet and corner in the center of a creek;
THENCE along the center of the creek through the abovementioned 29.622 acre tract
and the abovementioned 36.182 acre tract by the following courses:
S 38*20' E - 80 feet;
S 06010' W - 152 feet;
S 26023' E - 105 feet;
S 71015' E - 50 feet;
S 35018' E - 90 feet;
S 02025' E - 55 feet;
S 24*32' W - 140 feet;
S 29010' E - 48 feet;
S 14000' W - 80 feet;
S 26°18'09" E for a distance of
Southwest Parkway;
S 07°26'50" W for a distance of
Southwest Parkway;
96.91 feet to the northwest right-of-way line of
105.19 feet to the southeast right-of-way line of

S 36*40' E - 45 feet;
S 67000' E - 100 feet;
S 88*50' E - 95 feet;
S 52*16' E - 45 feet;
S 12050' W - 40 feet;
S 48*30' W - 130 feet;
S 22*10' W - 60 feet;
S 14*10' E - 135 feet;
S 65*55' E - 65 feet;
S 40*10' E - 230 feet;
S 88053' E - 100 feet;
S 52017'28" E for a distance of 43.17 feet to the southeast line of the above -
mentioned 36.182 acre tract;
THENCE N 45023'19" E along the beforementioned southeast line of the 36.182
acre tract for a distance of 883.26 feet and corner in the center of the before -
mentioned 15 foot wide sanitary sewer easement;
THENCE N 43051'28" W along the abovementioned center of the 15 foot wide sanitary
sewer easement for a distance of 1420.65 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and con-
taining 24.49 acres of land more or less from Single Family Residential District,
District R-1C to Agricultural -Open District, District A-0.
And, it is ordained that the said change shall be effective immediately.
