AN ORDINANCE REZONING A TWO ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE
FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, DISTRICT R-lC, TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT, DISTRICT C-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M.
on Monday, June 24, 1974 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
city limits:
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract in the Crawford
Burnett League in Brazos County, Texas and described as follows:
Being and beginning at the East corner of fifty acre tract of land conveyed to
J. L. Staney by Frank Uhler, a stake set on the Southwest line of the new survey of
Hwy 6, thence S 45 W with the southeast line of said fifty acre tract 150 varas
and corner, a stake for corner; Thence N 45 W 75 varas and corner, a stake for
corner; Thence N 45 E 150 varas and corner, a stake set on the Southwest line of
said Hwy.6; Thence S 45 E with said highway, 75 varas to the place of beginning,
containing two acres of land from Single Family Residential District, District
R-lC to General Commercial District, District C-1.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 24th day of June, 1974.
