SCOTT LEAGUE AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, DISTRICT R1-C TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, DISTRICT C-1 AND APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT, DISTRICT R-3. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station has been presented a petition by the owners of the herein described tracts of land to rezone the same from Single Family Residential District, Distric R-1C, to General Commercial District, District C-1 and Apartment Building District, District R-3; THEREFORE, it is hereby ordered that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of College Station shall consider the above request according to the provisions of Section 13-A of Ordinance No. 850 and shall make recommendation to the City Council prior to the 24th day of June, 1974; and It is hereby ordered that a public hearing be held at the City Hall in College Station, Texas at 7:00 P.M. on Jlme 24, 1974 on the question of rezoning all of those certain tracts of land in the City of College Station described as follows: TRACT ONE: A 4.32 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the J. E. Scott League, A-50, College Station, Brazos County, Texas and being part of the 22.22 acre tract of land conveyed to Interstate Promotional Printing Company by the deed recorded in Volume 313, Page 286 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 22.22 acre tract of land being part of the Polo Park Place Addition to the City of College Station, Texas, plat of said subdivision being recorded in Volume 106, page 1 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 4.32 acre tract being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point for corner, said point marking the south corner of Lot 23 and the east corner of Lot 22 out of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition, said point being located in the northwest right-of-way line of Farm -to -Market Road 60; THENCE N 45016' W for a distance of 220.0 feet to a point for corner, said point marking a common corner of Lot 38 and 39 out of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition, said point being located in the southeast right-of-way line of First Street; THENCE N 45°14' E along the above mentioned southeast right-of-way line, same being the northwest line of Lot 38 for a distance of 75.0 feet to a point for corner, said point marking a common corner of Lot 38 and Lot 37 out of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition; or uoiiege SLaLion, -texas, P-LaL UJ_ 5a1U 5UUU-LV.L5-Lull 1.)C1119 LCl VtUCU in Volume 106, Page 1 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 17.9 acre tract being more particularly described � �ows: ORDINANCE NO. 915 Page 2 THENCE N 45°16' W across First Street and Lot 83 for a distance of 80.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE S 45014' W across the before mentioned Polo Park Place Addition for a distance of 800.00 feet to point for corner; THENCE S 45016" E for a distance of 100.00 feet to point for corner, said point marking a common corner of Lot 47 and Lot 46 out of the above mentioned Polo Park Addition, said point being located in the before mentioned southeast right-of-way line of First Street; THENCE N 45014' E along the above mentioned southeast right-of-way line for a distance of 150.00 feet to a point for corner, said point marking a common corner of Lot 45 and Lot 44 out of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition; THENCE S 45116' E for a distance of 200.00 feet to a point for corner, said point marking a common corner of Lot 15 and Lot 16 out of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition, said point being located in the before mentioned northwest right-of-way line of Farm to Market Road 60; THENCE N 45014' E along the above mentioned northwest right-of-way line for a distance of 150.0 feet to a point for corner, said point marking a common corner of Lot 17 and Lot 18 out of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition; THENCE N 45016' W for a distance of 100.00 feet to a point for corner, said point marking a common corner of Lot 17, Lot 18, Lot 43 and Lot 42 out of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition; THENCE N 45014' E for a distance of 75.0 feet to a point for corner, said point marking a common corner of Lot 18, Lot 19, Lot 41 and Lot 42 out of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition; THENCE S 45016' E for a distance of 100.00 feet to a point for corner, said point marking a common corner of the above mentioned Lot 18 and Lot 19, said point being located in the before mentioned northwest right-of-way line of Farm to Market Road 60; THENCE N 45014' E along the above mentioned northwest right-of-way line for a distance of 350.0 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing 4.27 acres of land more or less from Single Family Residential District, District R-lC, to General Commercial District, District C-1; TRACT TWO: A 17.9 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the J. E. Scott League, A-50, College Station, Brazos County, Texas and being part of the 22.22 acre tract of land conveyed to Interstate Promotional Printing Company by the deed recorded in Volume 313, Page 286 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 22.22 acre tract of land being part of the Polo Park Place Addition to the City of College Station, Texas, plat of said subdivision being recorded in Volume 106, Page 1 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 17.9 acre tract being more particularly described 624516 ows: ORDINANCE NO. 915 Page 3 BEGINNING at a point for corner, said point marking the most northerly corner of the above mentioned Polo Park Place, said point being located in the southwest right-of-way line of a county road; THENCE S 44°11' W along the northwest line of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition for a distance of 1,814.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE S 45016' E for a distance of 220.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 44013' E for a distance of 539.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE S 45016' E for a distance of 395.5 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 45014' E for a distance of 800.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 45016' W for a distance of 305.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 45103' E for a distance of 475.0 feet to a point for corner, said point being located in the before mentioned southwest right-of-way line of a county road; THENCE N 45016' W along the above mentioned southwest right-of-way line for a distance of 332.8 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing 17.9 acres of land more or less from Single Family Residential District, District R-lC, to Apartment Building District, District R-3.
