AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE CITY LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION
TEXAS:
An affidavit having been made by all of the owners of the hereinafter
described territory adjoining the limits of the City of College
Station, Texas, to the effect th-&t there are no registered voters
residing within the boundaries of the hereinafter described territory
and that the affiants are the sole owners of the hereinafter described
territory, and
the aforesaid affidavit having been filed with the City
Secretary who has certified the same to the City Council,
now, therefore, the City Council by virtue of the authority
conferred by Article II, Section 6 of the Charter of the City of
College Station, Texas, approved on April 4, 1972, by this ordinance
does hereby receive such territory within the incorporated limits
of the City of College Station, Texas, such territory being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in
the Crawford Burnett League of Brazos County, Texas, being a part of
that 657 acre tract conveyed to William D. Fitch by deed recorded
in Volume 3.10, Page 787 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas,
and a part of that tract conveyed to Area Progress Corporation by
deed recorded in Volume 286, Page 292 of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod in the southeast line of the said Area
Progress Corporation tract at the present City Limits Line and located
S 42034117" W - 363.8 feet from the southwest right-of-way line of
State Highway No. 6.
THENCE along the present City Limits as follows:
N 40039129" W - 697.24 feet; S 49*20131" W - 185.71 feet;
N 40058149" W - 483.57 feet; N 44010113" W - 701.83 feet;
N 40055159" W - 1260.05 feet;N 5106102" W - 120.48 feet;
N 48033132" W - 1757.16 feet;N 89047'32" W-1093.83 feet;
S 42054143" W - 1492.58 feet;S 41012120" W - 509.07 feet;
S 44057125" W - 511.59 feet;
THENCE through the said William D. Fitch tract and the Area Progress
Corporation tract as follows:
S 41018158" E - 1125.00 feet; N 74050143" E - 3240.27 feet;
y' S 41057148" E - 2200.48 feet; S 47045157" E - 780.31 feet to the
southeast line of the said Area Progress Corporation tract;

THENCE N 42034'17" E - 653.80 feet along the southeast line of the
said Area Progress Corporation tract to the POINT OF BEGINNING
and containing 197.24 acres of land more or less.
