AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE QUESTION OF RE-
ZONING A 3.53 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE STARLINE RIDGE SUBDIVISION
FROM DISTRICT R-1C, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, TO DISTRICT C-N,
NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY
METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL1OF W1B.r' CXWEOLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that all land
described herein be rezoned from District R-IC, Single Family Residential, to District
C-N, Neighborhood Business District.
It is hereby ordered that a public hearing shall be held at the City Hall in College
Station, Texas at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, March 26,1973, on the question of rezoning
certain areas within thecity limits as follows:
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Richard Carter
League in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, being parts of a 13.54 acre tract
conveyed to Pauline Putz Higgins by dedd recorded in Volume 287, Page 814 of the
Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and also being part of a 13.54 acre tract of
land conveyed to Sylvia Putz Willingham by deed recorded in Volume 287, Paw 817
of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron rod in the southeast right-of-way line of FM 60 (University Drive)
at the common corner of the said Pauline Putz Higgins tract and Tract No. 3 of the Putz
Division;
Thence N 630 13' E alongthe right-of-way line of University Drive 94.4 feet to an iron rod;
Thence N 720 27' E along the right-of-way line of University Drive 558.2 feet to an iron rod;
Thence S 140 51' E 167.5 feet to a point;
Thence S 620 10' W 542 feet to a point along the southwest boundary line of Tract No. 4
(Pauline Putz Higginis);
Thence N 450 28' W 280 feet along said boundary line to the point of beginning and
containing 3.53 acres of land more or less from District R-1C, Sim& Family Residential,
to District C-N, Neighborhood Business District.
Noticd of said hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the
City of College Station at least three times, the first publication of which shall not be
lessAhan 15 days prior to the date fixed for the hearing.
