AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE A 9.62 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE J. E.
SCOTT SURVEY FROM DISTRICT NO. 1, FIRST DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT TO
DISTRICT NO. 4, FIRST BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P. M.
on July 26, 1971, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city limits,
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a 9. 62 acre tract beginning at the inter-
section of the southwest line of F. M. R a 2818 and the southeast line of F&B Road in
the J. E. Scott Survey in College Station, B al
County Texas;
Thence with the southw s line of F. M. oad 2818 as follows:
S 880 09' E - 69.3 feet;
S 41° 59' E - 189. 7 feet;
S 43° 42' E - 500.2 feet;
S 41° 59' E - 400 feet;
S 400 33' E - 411. eet;
Thence S 440 36' W - 0, feet;
N 45° Z" - 1554. 7 feet to the southeast line of F&B Road;
Thenc N 450 4 ' E - 268. 0 feet along the southeast line of F&B Road to the point
of ginning d containing 9.62 acres of land more or less, from District No. 1, First
Dw lling Hous District to District No. 4, First Business District, and it is so ordained
that said change be effective immediately.
