BURNETT LEAGUE FROM DISTRICT NO. 1, FIRST DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT TO DISTRICT NO. 3-A, MOBILE HOME PARK DISTRICT, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P. M. on July 26, 1971, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city limits, AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following: To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the C. Burnett League, Abstract No. 7 and being a part of that land conveyed to Pompey Banks and Adle Banks from H. H. Harrington by deed recorded in Volume 33, Page 30, of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and part of that land conveyed to Addilee Thompson from Mrs. C. Mendola by deed re- corded in Volume 19, Page 59, of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being described as follows: Beginning at the most northwesterly corner of the 16. 65 acre tract, said point bearing N 450 36' W a distance of 342.8 feet from an iron stake in the south right-of- way line of a county road (Finley Road), said iron stake being located approximately 1420 feet northeast of the eastern corner of FM 2818-Finley Road intersection along the south right-of-way line of Finley Road; Thence S 450 36' E 474. 7 feet to an iron stake for corner; Thence S 430 02' W 193.3 feet to an iron stake for corner; Thence S 450 05' E 351. 0 feet to an iron stake for corner; Thence N 440 39' E 850.1 feet to an iron stake for corner; Thence N 460 50' W 450.3 feet to an iron stake for corner; Thence N 44° 30' E 315. 7 feet to an iron stake for corner; Thence N 450 15' W 385. 5 feet to an iron stake for corner; Thence S 420 00' W 213. 0 feet to an iron stake for corner; Thence S 45000' W 749. 4 feet to the point of beginning and containing 16. 65 acres of Ordinance No. 772 Page 2 29 land more or less, from District No. 1, First Dwelling House District to District No. 3-A, Mobile Home Park District, and it is so ordained that said change be effectively immediately.
