SPORTS FANS: MARK YOUR CALENDARS The kick-off to Fall’s Exploring History Lunch Lecture Series COLLEGE STATION, TX – The City of College Station’s Historic Preservation Committee will
host Tom Turbiville for the September’s Exploring History Lunch Lecture “Exploring Aggie Football: Then and Now”. Tom Turbiville is currently the Sports Director at WTAW-KZNE, and is
a former Texas A&M University Sports Information Director. Other panel members include: • John David Crow, 1957 Heisman Trophy Winner, former A&M Athletics Director • R.C. Slocum, Former
Texas A&M Head Football Coach • Billy Pickard, Texas A&M Director of Athletic Facilities, former Athletics Trainer, (student trainer at Bear Bryant's 1954 Junction Football Camp) This
session will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the College Station Conference Center at 1300 George Bush Drive, at 11:30am. The luncheon is $5 payable at the door, but reservations
