Leave. EXTERNAL Acquisitions –59 pages scanned Contacts -3 Bruce Forsyth has asked for our cooperation again this year for the Patriot Day celebration, September 11, at Veterans Park.
Barbara Lewis, University of Arkansas, has three letters written by her grandfather in 1901 while a student at A&M. The letters contain information about the death of A&M President
Foster and the events surrounding the funeral. She will permit us to scan these in to Project HOLD. Costa Dallis from Café Eccel is working with the HPC on the 70th birthday celebration.
Presentations – 2 Applied for the Texas Municipal League “City Spirit” Award which was accompanied by a video created and produced by Mark Beal. Attended the College Hills Elementary
ground breaking. Research Requests –3 Council member requested information on the number of city employees during specific years. Ann Ganter, PIO CSISD, is borrowing some of our
photographs and material for their “100 Years of Education” celebration this coming year. Freebirds requested our help in locating older photos of the Freebirds location on University
for their anniversary celebration. Publicity -5 Project HOLD was featured in the Planning & Development Newsletter. Personal interview with Anne about her work with PH appeared
in the Emerald Forest Newsletter. Audrey Taubert, Public Communications intern, interviewed Anne in preparation for an upcoming “College Station: Then” show for Ch. 19. Project
HOLD volunteers who were awarded the Presidents Volunteer Service Awards, Alyson Sanders, Colleen Risinger, and the late Rosemary Boykin, were featured in the TV Facts magazine for the
week of June 29th. Exploring History Lunch Lecture showing on CSTV-19 on Tuesdays, 10 am and 10 pm.

Barrett, 118 Pershing, was vetoed by the HPC. Encouraged Meredith Waller to apply for an historic marker for College Hills Elementary School. Community Outreach -3 Attended the
Brazos County Historical Commission meeting. Attended the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board Attended the Quimby-McCoy Historical Survey presentation, June 10. INTERNAL Intern
– 0 hours No intern at this time. Volunteers – 10.5 hours Holly Naylor is a new volunteer who will begin scanning in June. Vicki Eastes is organizing the Norma Miller documents.
Colleen Risinger is scanning in the Brazos Valley Heroes articles among others..
