Dan Jackson worked at Texas
A &M for over 55 years and may
be the longest serving employee
in the history of A &M.
The 1928 Texas A &M yearbook
included a photograph of African
American employees. Dubbed the
"Jackson Volunteers" in honor of
Dan Jackson, this pose apparently
was a light hearted spoof of the
Ross Volunteers.
