The Reverend Dr. Jack R. Shelton of Houston, Texas, The Reverend Matt Idom, and The Reverend Martha Knobel Maxham, the bride's aunt of Olney, Maryland, officiated. Scripture readings were given by Miss Julie Cowley of Georgetown, Texas and Mrs. Colleen Holmes of Bryan. Music was provided by vocal soloists Mr. Adam Anthony of Bryan and Mr. Raymond Boney of Washington D. C., joining the Handbell Choir and the Sanctuary Choir of First United Methodist Church, directed by The Reverend David Henry, Minister of Music Ministries. Organist Dr. Laurine Marlow, pianist Mrs. Gerry Selden-Janik, handbell soloist Mrs. Liz Rock, and trumpeter Mr. John McSpadden provided beautiful selections. Following the double ring ceremony, a reception was held at Briarcrest Country Club with music provided by Lazy Boy and the Recliners of Granville, Ohio. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Christopher's , World Grille the evening before the wedding. ~ The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Dale Thomas Knobel of Granville, Ohio, where Dr. Knobel serves as President of Denison University. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Robert Blair (Beverly Hess) Jamieson and the late Mr. Jamieson and of Mrs. Harry Spencer (Gwynne Thomas) Knobel and the late Mr. Knobel, all of Hudson, Ohio. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor B. Sitton of Sugar Land, Texas and of the late Mrs. Suzanne Montgomery Dillman of Montgomery, Texas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Ernest (Lenora Schultz) Montgomery and the late Mr. Montgomery of Houston, Texas and of the late Mr. and Mrs. A.V. Sitton of Nacogdoches, Texas. Given in marriage by her parents, Dale and Tina, and escorted by her father, the bride chose a blush silk satin ballroom gown designed by Justin Alexander Couture. The hand draped fitted bodice with Austrian crystal spaghetti straps features a crystal and pearl beaded .sweetheart neckline above afully- pleated ball gown skirt that falls into athree-tiered cathedral train. A small Bible carried by Allison's maternal grandmother at her wedding in 1944 and by Allison's mother at her wedding in 1971 was tucked into the bride's bouquet. She also carried a locket with her late brother Matthew's photograph and a lace handkerchief from Ireland given to her by her mother. The bridesmaids wore gowns of espresso silk satin that fell into sweep trains and carried pale pink lilies. The flower girls wore blush colored organza dresses and carried a garland of roses down the aisle. 7Cno6el-Sitton ~Nedding the aisle. The bridesmaids were Miss Rebecca Jeanne Baur of 'Dallas, Miss Jenifer Leigh Cross of College Station, Mrs. Stephanie Moore Massey of North Zulch, Texas, and Mrs. Tonya Ellis Skeen of Dallas. Serving as junior bridesmaid was Miss Taylor Louise Massey, and the flower girls were Miss Kristen Bailey Massey and Miss Megan Elizabeth Massey, all of North Zulch. Greeters were ' Dr. and Mrs. William (Susan) Birdwell, Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Caroline) Ryden and Mr. and Mrs. Van (Laureen) Theiss. Members of the house party included Mrs. Katy Beal Freye of Belleville, Wisconsin, Miss Zhanna Wilson Holmes of Damon, Texas, Mrs. Traci Burkhalter Ling of Houston, Mrs. Sharon Sitton McGregor, sister of the groom, of Bryan, Miss Nicole Fremont Ponzio of Bryan and Miss Emily Beth Sitton, sister of the groom, of Austin. Mr. Brady Brister of Bossier City, Louisiana, served the groom as Best Man. Groomsmen were Mr. Steven Burch of Portland, Oregon, Mr. Trey Kirby of Montgomery, Texas, Mr. Randy McGregor, brother- :- in-law of the groom, of Bryan, and Mr. Rusty Menefee of Houston. The junior groomsman was Master Ross Allen McGregor, and the ring bearer was Master Wade Michael McGregor, both nephews of '. the groom, of Bryan. The ushers were Mr. Jason Atkinson, Mr. Bill Beck, Mr. Chad Kirby, Mr. Eric Lacey, Mr. Chase LeBlanc, all of Houston and Mr. Zachary Moore of Bryan. Candles were lit and dedicated in loving memory of Matthew Winsper Knobel, Allison's brother, Suzanne Montgomery Dillman, Damn's mother, and the deceased grandparents of the bride and groom. The bride is a 1992 graduate of Bryan High School and a 1996 graduate of Texas A&M University. She has recently been a '~ Master Mentor Teacher for the Bryan Independent School District and will teach fourth grade in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District beginning this fall., The groom is a 1988 graduate of Montgomery High School and a 1993 graduate of Texas A&M University. He is employed with Chumley and Associates of Houston. Following a honeymoon cruise to the islands of St. Thomas, St. Martin, and the Bahamas, Allison and Daron will reside in Houston.
