REGULAR MEETING
1) Welcome and Open Meeting
-Pledge of allegiance to the United States and Texas Flags and Invocation.
2) Public Comments Regarding Items Not on the Agenda
-Individuals who wish to address the Policy Board must fill out a Public Comment Card describing
the topic(s) they wish to address. Public comment cards may be obtained from Lisa Lyon of the
MPO staff prior to the start of the meeting. Please limit your comments to three minutes per topic.
3) Approval Of Minutes from the May 1, 2024 Policy Board Meeting
-Consider adoption - Action Required. (See attachment.)
4) Staff Report
• Metropolitan Transportation Plan Progress Report
• Comprehensive Safety Action Plan Update
• Congestion Management Process Update
5) FY 2023 – FY 2026 Transportation Improvement Program Amendment Four
-Brazos Transit District is requesting the addition of three projects to FY 2024. These projects
are funded through the FTA 5309 funding category. Project #5035 is for the construction of bus
shelters. Project #5036 is for Operating Assistance and Project #5037 is for the purchase of
Electric vehicle and chargers. The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) reviewed and
recommended approval of the FY 2023- FY 2026 Transportation Improvement Program,
Amendment Four to the MPO Policy Board. Staff has completed a 15-day public comment period.
Action Required. (See attachment.)
6) FY 2025 – FY 2028 Transportation Improvement Program
-Every two years, the MPO must develop a Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) which
lists the projects for which federal transportation funds will be spent during the next four-year
period. The MPO must also demonstrate that the projects in the TIP have the funding reasonably
available to complete the listed projects. The TAC has reviewed and recommended the FY 2025
– FY 2028 Transportation Improvement Program for adopted by the MPO Policy Board. Staff
has completed a 15-day public comment period. Action Required. (See attachment.)

7) Presentations from Member Communities and Agencies
-Representatives of our planning partner communities and agencies will provide brief updates on
transportation projects either under construction or being planned for Brazos County over the
next one to two years.
8) Adjourn
-The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 9:30 AM. The Policy Board may
consider rescheduling this meeting to avoid the Independence Day holiday. Staff is recommending
the meeting be rescheduled for June 26, 2024 at 9:30 AM.
