AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, DIRECTING THE
PREPARATION OF A SERVICE PLAN AND SETTING DATES AND TIME AND PLACE FOR
PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby directs its Planning & Development Services Department
and other appropriate departments to prepare service plans providing for the extension of
municipal services to the areas targeted for annexation.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby calls and sets public hearings by and before the City
Council of the City of College Station, Texas on November 16`h and November 19`h
2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City hall at 1101 Texas Avenue,
College Station, Texas. The public hearings will give all interested persons the right to
appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of College Station, Texas.
PART 3: That the areas proposed for annexation are generally described below, shown in Exhibits
"A" through "E", and more specifically described in Exhibit "F" by metes and bounds,
attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance for all purposes.
Area #1 -located generally at the intersection of Raymond Stotzer Parkway and Turkey
Creek Road and containing 102.25 acres.
Area #2 -located generally at the intersection of SH 30 and William D. Fitch Parkway
and containing 3,477.32 acres.
Area #3 -located generally at the intersection of Rock Prairie Road West and Jones-
Butler Road and containing 1,109.69 acres.
Area #4 -located generally at the intersection of Greens Prairie Road and Wellborn
Road, bisected by Greens Prairie Trail, and containing 679.54 acres.
Area #5 -located generally on the east side of State Highway 6, south of the existing
city limits and containing 1,380.11 acres.
PART 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage by the City
Council, as provided by Section 35 of the Charter of the City of College Station.

All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the J.E. Scott League,
Abstract No. 50, and the J.H. Jones League, Abstract No. 26, in Brazos County, Texas,
being bounded by the west and southwest right-of--way line of F.M. 2513 (Turkey Creek
Road), by the City Limits of College Station as defined by ordinance nos. 2132, 2771,
673, and 378 and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the line between the cities of Bryan and College Station
and the west line of F.M. 2513 from where the City of College Station GPS control
monument no. 164 bears S 2° 28' 32" W - 147.98 feet.
Thence S 47° 19' OS" E - 565.95 feet along the existing city limits of College Station
according to ordinance no. 378, across F.M. 2513 and continuing to the northwest line of
F&B Road;
Thence N 41 ° 15' 48" E - 498.21 feet along the northwest line of F&B Road and the
existing city limits of College Station as defined by ordinance no. 378 to the city limits as
defined by ordinance no. 673 (500' from F.M. 2818);
Thence S 44° 30' 38" E - 61.04 feet across F&B Road and along the city limits line
defined by ordinance no. 673 to the southeast line of F&B Road and the northwest line of
that 7.32 acre tract conveyed to F and B 2818, L.L.C. by deed recorded in Volume 6596,
Page 282 of the Official Public Records of Brazos County, Texas;
Thence S 42° 02' 37" W - 25.56 feet along the existing city limits of College Station as
defined by ordinance 2771 and the northwest line of the said F and B 2818, L.L.C. 7.32
acre tract to the common corner of the said 7.32 acre tract and that 7.25 acre tract
conveyed to F and B 2818, L.L.C by deed recorded in Volume 6615, Page 87 of the
Official Public Records of Brazos County, Texas;
Thence S 40° 17' 45" W - 205.02 feet along the southeast line of F&B Road to the west
corner of the said 7.25 acre tract;
Thence S 47° 49' O1" E - 1522.50 feet along the line between the said 7.25 acre tract and
that 29.14 acre tract conveyed to Texas A&M University by deed recorded in Volume

ordinance no. 2771 to an angle point;
Thence N 42° 15' 11" E - 78.67 feet continuing along the existing city limits as defined
by ordinance no. 2771 to existing city limits as defined by ordinance no. 673;
Thence S 43° 04' 43" E - 20.00 feet along the existing city limits as defined by ordinance
no. 673 to the northwest line of that 6.89 acre tract conveyed to the Texas A&M
University by deed recorded in Volume 1066, Page 602 of the Official Public Records of
Brazos County, Texas, to the northeast line of the said Texas A&M University 29.14 acre
tract;
Thence S 42° 09' 39" W - 77.94 feet along a northwest line of the said 6.89 acre tract to

All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Thomas Caruthers
League, Abstract No. 7, Maria Kegans League, Abstract No. 28, and the Augustus
Williams League, Abstract No. S8, in Brazos County, Texas, being bounded by Bird
Pond Road, Tonkaway Lake Road, State Highway No. 30, and the existing city limits as
defined by ordinance nos. 1462 and 2590 and being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the existing city limits line defined by ordinance no. 2590
which is the center of the old channel of Carters Creek and the southeast Iine of the
prescriptive right-of--way of Bird Pond Road.
