Subject: Books needed and status query
The George W. Bush Presidential Library at Texas A&M University along with the Texas Historical
Corrunission is having a "Texas in World War II" event on Sept. 3. I have been invited to represent WWII
Navy WAVES and need your help.
Several years ago, WIMSA bought all rema~n~ng copies of my book, "The Way of the WAVES" at $7.10
each, plus postage. I have either given or sold all of my copies and need to buy BACK 20 copies from
WIM$A at the same price -- $7.10 -- for the "Texas in WWII" affair. If you have any brochures for this
book or WIMSA, I can put them to good use too.
Please send the books at postal book rate, as soon as possible. Men reprsenting WWII military will
probably outnumber me by about 10 to 1 but I can assure you, everyone will leave with a positive
update on women in the military -- WWII and today 1
Thanks for all of the work you are doing at WIMSA.
